French wine virtual masterclass with a professional sommelier

Have you ever dreamed of travelling into the most famous wine regions of France with a certified French sommelier Thierry Givone (speaking English, of course). In this one-hour virtual experience, you will learn all about French wines from the comfort of your own home.

What to expect:

• An interactive experience where you will learn everything you'd like to know about French wines
• Your host Thierry will show you maps and pictures, develop the main key facts for those regions and explain how to read labels, and answer all your questions of course!
• He will cover Champagne, Bordeuax, Burgundy, Rhone valley, Loire, all the most famous French wine regions
• You will receive a list of French wine to buy locally before the class ( 1, 2 or 6, as you want !) and your host will comment on your wine during the tasting

What you need to know:

• The wine class will be live on Zoom. You will receive a link to connect for the class after booking.
• This experience is bookable as public and private events

About your host Thierry: Bonjour! My name is Thierry GIVONE, I'm a French sommelier and wine instructor, with several diplomas and distinctions in wine. I live in Paris, but I was born in Burgundy (Bourgogne) which the best wine of the world for me, of course ;-) I'm the founder and wine instructor of Wine Tasting In Paris, a wine place in the Latin Quarter of Paris, where I organise wine tasting classes for the last 6 years now. During the quarantine period due to the Coronavirus crisis, I've decided to use my passion for wine and my willing to share my knowledge on French wines to propose a online French wine class.
